Who are we ?

We Safal Solutions Pvt.Ltd., are the IT solution company, based in Secunderabad with having aim to develop customized IT solutions for the NGOs, promoting micro-finance, health, education and livelihood. We believe that these IT solutions will enable the civil society organizations and cooperatives increase the outreach, transparency, efficiency and leverage opportunities of information economy.

Issue of digital divide is now strikingly clear to a large number of institutions and governments. Many of them have started incorporating Information Technology (IT) strategy as an essential part of their over all business plan. Those who have adopted IT strategy early have reaped the benefits and others are joining the race before it is too late. However, most of the institutions and micro enterprises operating in disadvantaged locations are still lagging far behind in the race.

There are 200 Rural Regional Banks, 400 District Central Cooperative Banks, over 1 lakh Cooperative societies, thousands of small institutions and millions of micro enterprises in the rural sector. Till date, the accounting package is the most common application package used by a few of these institutions and enterprises. Only a handful have started using management information systems for their portfolio. Thus, there is a huge dormant demand for IT applications in all these institutions and enterprises.

From the supply side, there are a handful of software development companies focusing on micro finance and micro enterprises. Accounting consulting companies have developed most of the available packages. They are good, as these companies bring in their domain understanding of accounting. But accounting is a small part of micro finance and micro enterprises. Hence, these packages addresses only a small part of the operations.

In this scenario, Mr. Subodh Kumar Gupta decided to start an IT solution company namely Safal Solutions.Safal is an acronym for System Automation in Finance and Livelihood.
